Laying Over in Wrangell

Today is a “lay day” in Wrangell, one of our favorite towns in southeast Alaska. Barb did laundry in the morning and attended a charity luncheon with Janet.

For me, most of the day was spent on maintenance: a clogged head (toilet) discharge hose. After carefully diagnosing and isolating the hose that was the culprit, I was able to extract the old hose from its trail between the fancy interior woodwork and the boat hull. After some searching, I found exactly the hose we needed at the Otteson’s marine hardware store, and managed to install the new one with less effort than expected.

Mission accomplished.
